About Pip Flowers
Pip teaches higher level biology and physiology in a leading UK College and is also an examiner for A level and International awarding bodies. For many years Pip has also had extensive involvement in Access courses (fast track highly intensive UK courses preparing mature learners for entry to University) and has also acted as an External Moderator at a number of UK Colleges.
Pip is currently working on the Quickfire Biology series in the light of the increasing demand by unversities for more rigour in UK Level 3 examinations. Pip sees an increased need for students to be able to handle and recall biology facts immediately rather than trying to learn full answers to past exam questions by rote. Pip's books will be suitable for non-UK students on year 12 onwards.
Mature returners to education (ag Access students) will also be able to prepare for their science subjects in biology and chemistry through the "Basic Introductions" series.
